Being a historical account of the tales of the mystical covenant of Colkirk, and of the diuerse personages associated with it
- Spring 1220: Hubert, Isaac, Morvoren, Stefanus, and Wormwood solve the mystery of the haunting of Alfreinscombe Castle, and establish their new covenant there. It is named Colkirk in honor of the woman whose ghost had resided there.
- Summer 1220: Hubert, Morvoren, and Wormwood, accompanied by William Grey and a nameless guard, destroy a trio of hostile emotional spirits in the place called Angel’s Bowl. As a reward, the guardian spirit of the Angel’s Bowl grants them permission to harvest vis from the healing spring there every autumn.
- Summer 1220: Isaac and Stefanus, accompanied by Tobias Miller, investigate the rumor of a man returning from the dead. Their adventure takes them first to the village of Appledore, and then across England to the city of Colchester and the covenant of Nigrasaxa, where they leave the man to be studied by more experienced magi.
- Spring-Summer 1221: Hubert, Isaac, Morvoren, and Wormwood, accompanied by Tobias Miller, travel to the village of Avebury to rendezvous with Vitrius of Bonisagus and examine the multiple supernatural sites there. While waiting, they interrupted the local May Day festival, inquired (somewhat un-diplomatically) about the hircuesqe appearance of some of the villagers, discovered the sacrifice-for-protection arrangement the village had going on with a local faerie, and slew said faerie.
-Vitrius did arrive the next day, and led the group in exploring the site. He seemed more interested in the capabilities of the late faerie than in anything that was still there. The expedition was made more difficult by the villagers’ quiet hostility toward the group, and their sudden concern about not having enough food to share (or even sell), so Vitrius cut it short after only a week.
